Cocoa Popcorn for Breast Cancer Protection

Cocoa Popcorn Recipe

This light cocoa popcorn topping is addictive and provides fiber as well as antioxidants from the dark cocoa powder.  This is a satisfying snack for anytime of day and a light dessert alternative.  Start by popping organic popcorn in extra virgin olive oil.  Stainless steel pans are non-toxic and work well for popcorn.

  • 4 cups popped popcorn


  • 2 tablespoons non-dairy butter
  • 2 teaspoons xylitol or honey
  • 1 teaspoon dark unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Salt to taste with sea salt

Combine butter, xylitol and cocoa and heat in microwave (5-10 seconds), or in a saucepan until melted. Spoon over popcorn and toss.
